I manage a career center that assist displaced workers in preparing for and initiating job searches and/or a change in career path. This includes 1-on-1 coaching, workshop set-up, facilitation of workshops, and establishment of seminars by employers and other outside resources. Responsible for delivery of all career transition services for more then 750 candidates. Additional duties include resume, CV, and cover letter development; career counseling; and targeted job search.
With Valentine’s Day at the center of this “beautiful” winter month, I couldn’t resist the urge to find some way to work the process of building a relationship into the career transition theme.
